Customer Service Representative - Mid Shift

Are you making $14-16/hour? Wanna make up to $19/hour, plus commission?

Do you want to take charge of your career? Do you like making decisions and feeling empowered by responsibilities?

Are you known as the friend who always cheers your buddies on? Do you enjoy helping take care of them?

Are you a good listener?

You should apply for our Customer Service Representative (CSR) Mid-Shift position!

When someone needs help, they feel comfortable talking to you, and you feel comfortable offering solutions. You know how to cheer people up and calm them down. You’ve never been called a Debbie Downer!

You’re good at what you do-- the best, actually. Maybe you've even won awards for your work! You're exactly the kind of person we need. You've never been called lazy or unreliable, and it’s about time someone recognizes your hard work! Our CSRs make between $35,000 to $55,000 annually, based on performance!

You work hard, but you need a break sometimes. At Morris-Jenkins, you’ll get generous paid time off, plus 7 paid holidays. In fact, as a Customer Service Representative, you’ll work a cycle of six weeks on, five days off. It’s like getting a mini vacation every six weeks!

Medical, Dental, Vision, Long & Short-Term Disability, Life, and Accident and Cancer Insurance with FSA/HSA, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan are all available to you. We trust that you’ll take care of our customers, so we want you to trust that we will take care of you and your family.

Despite your high energy levels, you know how to stay calm under pressure. When things get busy, instead of panicking, you feel energized! After all, staying busy keeps your night interesting!

When it comes to multitasking, you’re a pro! As a CSR, you’ll be listening and typing up notes at the same time to make sure the customer gets the best care and the best solution possible.

You get along with all kinds of personality types. You don’t think people are “weird” just for being different—you embrace the uniqueness of each person, including customers.

Some call centers use scripts to ensure that every CSR says the same things. Not us! You’re a unique person, and we want others to experience your unique brand of awesome! Instead of telling you exactly what to say, we have a service system that our CSRs follow. This ensures all customers have the best experience possible from the time they place their call until the time they hang up, all the while allowing you to maintain your individuality.

You’re consistent, and we like that! You’re also adaptable and decisive. Our mid shift team is a small, close-knit family—you’ll love them! Because the team is smaller, you get to be the “captain of your own ship”—you can problem solve and think outside the box with more freedom than the average CSR. Your assertiveness will be valuable when making quick decisions to ensure the customer is taken care of. We’re so glad someone like you wants to join the team!

As a Customer Service Representative:

  • You’ll provide customer satisfaction through effective and timely one-call resolution for a variety of customer inquiries, building customer loyalty.
  • You’ll educate customers on the values and benefits of Morris-Jenkins, particularly the Priority Advantage program.
  • You’ll respond to customer inquiries via telephone, e-mail, and/or chat.
  • You’ll use resource documentation for reference and the provided automated and training tools to deliver exceptional customer service.

You’ve got great time management skills, and punctuality means a lot to you. You’re a night owl, and that’ll serve you well! If you’re the kind of person to show up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed after the sun goes down, you’re exactly who we need!

We hope you’d like to join our family! Everyone loves it here so much that Morris-Jenkins even won the Charlotte Observer’s “Top Workplace” award in 2016, 2018, and 2019. This is a job experience like no other! We have big company breakfasts, fiestas, and more!
