HVAC Diagnostic Service Technician

Are you tired of the monotony of routine?
Do you get a rush from new challenges?

Does your mom call you when her AC is “making that funny noise again”?
Would your friends crown you the reigning champion of double-dog-dares? Do they stare at you in shock as you calmly shrug off the presence of spiders and snakes?

When you meet people, do you find yourself making a new friend within minutes?

Holy cow! You might be exactly the person we’ve been searching for!

Are you our new HVAC Diagnostic Service Technician?

How does a new company vehicle sound?

Speaking of sounds, our vehicles don’t make any. No thunk thunk or horrible whirring sound when you drive, and there are no dents, drips, or dings. And the mileage? It’s so low that you could’ve counted to it when you were a kid.

Your time and energy should be spent doing the work you enjoy, so don’t worry about laundry. We’ll provide you with uniforms and wash them for you.

You’re a busy person. We get that. What you need is free time. At Morris-Jenkins, you’ll have plenty of paid days off and you also get 7 paid holidays.

SEVEN!

You deserve to be recognized for your hard work and accomplishments. We believe in rewarding our top performers with bonuses, and we have no doubt you will be among them. We’ll ensure it by giving you ongoing training so that you can do what you do best.

A shiny new sports car. Crazy fast with the latest features.

You want to drive it everywhere. The sun glints off the finish. The engine roars like a lion. But it’s the DETAILS that put that car over the edge.

DETAILS.

You are that car.

Morris-Jenkins is here to help you shine with the brightest possible shine.

You’ll have year-round stability with overtime available if you want it. Medical, Dental, Vision, Long & Short-Term Disability AND Life Insurance, a Flexible Spending Account, and a 401(k) Retirement Plan are just some of the perks available so you and your family can relax, knowing you’re covered.

You seem like a nice person. I’m betting you’ll be showered in praises. (Remember I said that when it comes true.)

Carolina summers have a sticky heat. That’s what makes you a HERO when you fix a customer’s A/C. But you’ve been helping people with their HVAC problems for a couple years now—maybe even more. Good job! We need more service technicians like you!

If you don’t know the answer to -5<1-3x<10, that’s okay. Not sure what the French word, “pamplemousse” means? That’s ok, too. (It means grapefruit. But why does anyone need to know that?)

We don’t need you to have a fancy degree. But we do need you to have a driver’s license and an insurable driving record. Does the phrase “EPA Section 608 Type II” sound familiar? “Universal Certification,” perhaps? If you’ve got one or the other, you’re REALLY special.

You’re going to fit perfectly into our big (and growing) family—I know it! You love to have fun, you enjoy being around people, and you have great energy. At Morris-Jenkins, you won’t have a boss yelling at you. Instead, you’ll be shown respect, kindness, and support. Here, it feels like family because it is family. That’s why people like you voted Morris-Jenkins as the Charlotte Observer’s “Top Workplace” in 2016, 2018, and 2019.

At Morris-Jenkins:

  • You’ll travel daily, investigate reports of malfunctioning HVAC equipment, conduct tests, and resolve problems like a super sleuth.
  • You’ll make friends. And you’ll get paid for it.
    • It’s important to form relationships with customers.

Dispatchers, technicians, and installers—oh my! You’ll work with all of them. But that’s ok. They’re all friendly. We aren’t lions, tigers, and bears to work with. (Bonus points if you appreciate our corny humor.)

Do you want to be sure we remember your application? Include your best cheesy joke—the cheesier, the better.

What kind of person fits in at Morris-Jenkins? People like you. The fun one who knows how to make a room laugh, who is professional and knowledgeable, and who isn’t afraid of a new challenge.

You know you belong here, so the question is, what are you waiting for?

I’ll see you at the next big company breakfast.

Submit your application online today!

Your resume and application are great, but is it really fair to assume a piece of paper truly captures YOU? We don’t think so. As a part of your application, you must complete a Sparkhire one-way video interview! It’s short, simple, and surprisingly fun!  https://hire.li/4d6fca0.
