You’re one of the best! Water heaters, filtration systems, drains, sewers, water and gas lines, maybe even tankless water heaters… you could probably work on them blindfolded! Please don’t try that though. We believe you. :)

As one of the more experienced plumbers, you’ll have opportunities to help those who are just starting their plumbing careers. I’m sure they’ll admire you just as much as we do!

You understand that doing the job well sometimes takes time. You’d rather take as long as you need to do the job right, and we like that! This isn’t a “hurry up and get it done” job! Take the time you need to do right by the customer.

Stuff HR Needs You to Know:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of plumbing experience with water heater, tankless & filtration systems installation and retrofit, having strong knowledge of state and local codes and regulations
  • 3+ years of plumbing experience with drain, sewer, water and gas lines installation and retrofit, having strong knowledge of state and local codes and regulations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions
  • Keen ability to work accurately, efficiently, and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
  • Committed adherence and enforcement of the company’s core values and core purpose
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior leadership experience
  • Valid North Carolina Plumbing Contractor or Journeyman License
  • Valid South Carolina LLR Plumbing Contractor License
  • Valid South Carolina MASC Master Plumber Certification
  • Experience in Residential Plumbing, particularly with drain, sewer, water & gas line installation and retrofit
  • Experience with service of tank-less water heaters and water filtration systems
  • Knowledge of drain machines, camera & locator equipment

Mental Demands:  Must be able to perceive and distinguish emotions, as well as deal with adversarial confrontations.  Requires an ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks at once.  Conscious attention to detail is required to safely perform tasks.

Work environment:  Frequently requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and other hazards such as electrical shock, sharp objects, poisonous animals, etc.  This job requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by company policy.
