Sounds good right? So what does an Apprentice Plumber do? In a nutshell, their essential function is being primarily responsible for assisting in the installation and removal of water heaters, tankless water heaters, and water filtration systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observes and assists in plumbing installations, which include water heaters, tankless water heaters, and water filtration systems
Provides excellent customer service while properly addressing customer issues and ensuring effective, long-term problem resolution
Actively engages and participates in the plumbing installation process to gain knowledge needed to further advance
Keeps personal tools and equipment operable and up to date
Maintains professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager
No prior plumbing experience required
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot and understand technical concepts
Familiar & skilled in the safe use of basic hand tools
High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer & technology skills
Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language
Must pass pre-employment drug test
Must pass extensive criminal background check
Must have an insurable driving record & valid driver license
Able to meet Physical Demands and tolerate the physical Work Environment
2+ years of experience with customer service or sales
Prior Plumbing experience
